SIR HUBERT GUEST
Sir Hubert was modelled on FH's father Robert (aka 'Pop') who was often in
the studio making tea, lending wit and good humour to help everyone keep
going. This photo of him in full space fleet uniform comes from Eagle volume one,
number 25.

HOW PRESIDENT KALON GOT THAT TWINKLE IN HIS EYE
It’s not hard to find photographs of Robert Hampson as Sir Hubert Guest. But FH also used his dad to capture specific expressions for President Kalon. In this frame, from Eagle volume one, issue 48, the wily Theron President tells Hank and Pierre he has ‘a few surprises’ in store for the Treens.
